IMG Heads to Miami
IMG’s 7th on Sixth said Los Angeles labels BCBG Max Azria Group and Juicy Couture will be among about a dozen companies that are expected to showcase 2006 swimwear and resort collections in July at the inaugural Sunglass Hut Swim Shows Miami, presented by Lycra.
Running concurrently with the July 16–20 run of the swimwear industry’s major semiannual trade event, the Miami Swim Show, the fashion shows will be held at venues near the pool of The Raleigh Hotel in Miami Beach, Fla. Other companies on the preliminary list of participants are: Carmen Marc Valvo, Cosabella Mare, Esteban Cortazar, Gideon Oberson, Inca, JLo by Jennifer Lopez, Miracle Suit, Norma Kamali, Rosa Cha and XOXO. 7th on Sixth also produces Olympus Fashion Week in New York and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios in Culver City, Calif.
