Negotiator Named

Scott Quesenberry has been named chief textile negotiator by the U.S. trade representative’s office, replacing David Spooner, who recently hammered out a deal with Chinese officials to limit apparel and textile imports from China until 2008. Spooner has been nominated to be the new assistant secretary of commerce for import administration, a position that must now be approved by the U.S. Senate. Quesenberry will continue negotiations with China for the United States.
