Beverly Center Names New GM

The Beverly Center, located in the Westside of Los Angeles, recently named Aj D. Jemison general manager. Jemison replaced Laurel Crary, who worked for eight years at the fashionable shopping center.

Jemison, who started work July 18, is responsible for the center’s day-to-day operations.She is working closely with the shopping center’s marketing director, retailers and the greater community, according to a Beverly Center representative.

Jemison has spent the past 16 years working at different retail properties of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.–based Taubman Centers, the owner of the Beverly Center. For four years, she was general manager of the International Plaza in Tampa, Fla. She spent 12 years in various management positions at the Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn, Mich.

“Aj’s experience, energy and talent make her the perfect fit for this flagship property of ours,” said Denise Anton, Taubman’s senior vice president of center operations. —Andrew Asch
