Miami SwimShow Cruise '06: Speedo
Speedo, the iconic swimwear brand best known for outfitting world-class Olympic athletes, opened the week, with the U.S. Olympic Synchronized Swim Team and dancers from the NBA’s Miami Heat squad staging a production showcasing Speedo Performance swimwear, Speedo Men’s boardshorts and the sleek, sexy women’s Speedo Axcelerate activewear.
The performance accentuated the new lifestyle focus of Los Angeles–based Speedo, part of the Warnaco Swimwear Group’s stable of brands. Seven-time Olympic medalist and swim icon Amanda Beard also joined in the fun, celebration-style grand finale.
