Lost Clothing USA added two new positions to its sales and marketing department in a move to grow the surf and skate brand.

Greg Osthus joined as vice president of sales, marketing and merchandising, and Mark Moreno took on the duties of marketing director. Osthus previously worked in Ezekiel Clothing’s sales division in Irvine, Calif. Moreno formerly held the same title at Sanuk, the sandal maker in Cardiff by the Sea, Calif.

Lost Clothing, based in Irvine, has been making management changes amid a growing action-sports market. In March, as previously reported, Kelly Gibson assumed the role of president and chief executive at Dysfunctional Clothing Co., the American licensee of Lost Clothing. Gibson holds the same titles at O’Neill Clothing. Both O’Neill and Lost use the same facility in Irvine.

Lost Clothing said sales increased 35 percent in 2004 at more than 800 specialty retailers worldwide.
