Apparel Consultants Wilhelm, D'Arienzo Join Forces

Salt Lake City–based consultant Walter Wilhelm Associates LLC (WWA) has formed a marketing alliance with another consultant, Princeton, N.J.–based William D’Arienzo Associates (WDA), to provide a pool of expertise for the apparel industry and related markets.

WWA focuses on technology and supply-chain management, while WDA specializes in branding, licensing and marketing. By combining services, both companies plan to reach a broader market as well as enhance existing services for clients.

WWA, headed by Walter T. Wilhelm, helps companies with their “speed-to-market” initiatives, technology solutions (such product lifecycle management applications) and executive recruitment. Wilhelm has more than 30 years of industry experience. He is the co-founder of Microdynamics Inc., which was acquired by Tolland, Conn.–based Gerber Technology Inc. WWA has offices in Salt Lake City, New York and the United Kingdom.

WDA operates two divisions: Visionary Strategies and WDA Marketing Solutions. Visionary Strategies focuses on licensing and brand management, while WDA Marketing specializes in strategic marketing and business development.

Both companies stage industry seminars. WWA recently moderated sourcing and technology seminars in conjunction with the American Apparel & Footwear Association. WDA is hosting a product placement seminar June 28 at the Princeton Club in New York. Kathie de Chirico of Visionary is participating in a speed-to-market seminar July 19–20 in El Salvador.
