San Francisco Fashion Week '05: Ana Mulford

Ana Mulford sought refuge in romance and geography by creating bright, tropical-inspired womenswear. The Venezuela native chose the tropical rain forest as inspiration for her collection, which featured a sexy emerald-green chiffon tube top paired with long, slim pants made from Colombian cotton. Other looks, including a blue floral-print V-neck ruffled shirt worn with boyshorts and a bright-fuchsia strapless gown made from chiffon and shiny crepe fabric, were festive. Mulford also tried her hand at formalwear with a coconut-colored organza and satin bridal gown with removable jeweled chiffon sleeves.
