Jerry Leigh Spins 'Web'

The Los Angeles–based apparel manufacturer of Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Lovers apparel line has inked a deal with another licensor, E.B. White novel–turned–feature film “Charlotte’s Web.”

Working with movie studio Nickelodeon, Jerry Leigh Apparel debuted a “Charlotte’s Web”–themed line of cashmere sweaters, thermal tops and high-end T-shirts in subtle gray, white and black hues for Fall. The film debuts Dec. 15.

Targeting an upscale and older customer, rather than the kid-friendly film’s demographic, Jerry Leigh’s designs feature subtle web prints on shoulders and along the bottom hem of the garments. Retail prices for the line range from $35 for a cotton tank to $300 for a cashmere cardigan and pant set.—Erin Barajas
