L.A. Fashion Hits the Desktop

IMG Media, a division of IMG, parent company of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios, has struck a deal with MSN Video to put Los Angeles Fashion Week shows on the Web at MSN.com.

The New York–based company struck a similar deal last month for its Olympus Fashion Week event in New York.

Visitors to MSN will be able to watch streaming video from several of the shows at Smashbox Studios in Culver City, Calif., presented in two-minute excerpts. In late March, the shows will be available as a podcast for Apple iPods. In addition to runway coverage, video includes lifestyle features, including shopping tours of Los Angeles boutiques.
