Nautica Expands

A women’s sportswear collection will be launched this Fall by Nautica, a division of New York–based apparel giant VF Corp. The collection, set to hit stores in August, adds to Nautica’s current women’s offerings, which include sleepwear and swimwear. The line, which features three collections, will incorporate the brand’s signature hardware and trims. Items will range from classic separates to outerwear in pastels and neutrals. The women’s sportswear collection will expand beyond the domestic market next year, landing first in Europe. An accessories collection will debut with the Spring 2007 collection. Nautica hopes to launch a women’s fragrance with the accessories.
