Kitty Goes to Hollywood
Hello Kitty by Victoria Couture hosted a celebrity-studded party and runway show during Los Angeles Fashion Week on Oct. 19 at Hollywood nightclub Element.
In the crowd were “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria, actress Natasha Henstridge and single-named comedian Sinbad. On the runway, it was all Hello Kitty, with cashmere hoodies, sexy hot pants and flirty ball skirts with an ’80s edge. The familiar Hello Kitty icon was emblazoned in crystal on T-shirts and printed on just about everything else. Stylist and designer Maggie Barry styled the show and dolled up the Kitty Couture with diamonds by Barbara Parker. —Alison A. Nieder
