EDI Part of Seminar Topics at L.A. Textile Show

Electronic data interchange (EDI), style catalogs and order-entry systems will be among the topics of discussion at a seminar series hosted by Fashion Business Inc. during the Los Angeles International Textile Show, held Oct. 30–Nov. 1 at the California Market Center.

The seminars get underway at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 30 at the adjacent FBI Resource Center in The New Mart with a session on how to automate the order-entry, inventory-control and accounts-receivables processes. A forum taking place at 12:30 p.m. will give an overview of what smaller companies need to do to become EDI-compliant. At 11 a.m. on Oct. 31, a demonstration featuring Web-Link, a new product that automates the process of creating style catalogs, will be presented on Oct. 30 at the resource center. On Nov. 1, a seminar on integrating programs such as QuickBooks GL into the AIMS software system will take place at noon.
