Lectra to Boost Staff

Lectra is hiring. After a period of downsizing, the French technology company said it plans to hire about 100 workers worldwide in various aspects of business to support the development of new technology solutions, including its Lectra PLM (product lifecycle management) and Kaledo textile design package.

The company will be looking to build up its marketing, sales, R&D, consulting and services teams around the world, with an emphasis on North America, Asia, France and Eastern Europe.The company is recruiting both experienced professionals and new graduates from major business schools and universities who demonstrate “a strong sense of responsibility and initiative,” said a company human resources executive.

All teams will receive adapted training and supervision through programs developed by the Lectra Academy, the company’s international training center in France. In addition to ensuring the ongoing acquisition of new skills and methods, the center promotes optimal conditions for the exchange of knowledge by encouraging collaborative work that stimulates innovation, said a Lectra spokesperson.

The company employs 1,500 workers representing 50 nationalities and 40 languages.
