New York Fashion Week: Michon Schur
Los Angeles–based young designer Stephanie Schur sent a bevy of party-perfect cocktail dresses down the runway at her Sept. 13 fashion show during Olympus Fashion Week in New York. Her line, Michon Schur, has fast become a favorite among Hollywood starlets, and her Spring ’07 collection was packed with champagne-hued sheaths and mod minis.
An understated palette of cream, gold, oatmeal, sky-blue and navy put the focus on Schur’s silhouettes. Voluminous cap sleeves perked up a sedate dress, and kicky chiffon ruffles added sass to a narrow skirt. A strapless dress featured a fitted bodice and bell skirt.
Separates included high-waist pencil skirts, a white bustier with a low ruffle, sheer off-the-shoulder tunics, and wide-leg trousers.
