Hippie Ink Goes Organic
Los Angeles–based T-shirts line Hippie Ink by Jennifer Ashley has debuted a new line of organic cotton shirts.
The line is made of 100 percent organic cotton grown using methods with minimal impact on the environment, leaving pesticide-free and replenished soil, said Ashley. The shirts are made with vegetable dyes and water-based graphics.
The line features about eight styles bearing messages including “Love the Earth” and “Mother Earth Rocks.” They are offered in short- and long-sleeve cuts as well as in a tank-top style. Prices range from $32 to $38. Colors include oatmeal, green, pink, light blue and white. The shirts will be on display in the Sharon Koshet Sales showroom in the California Market Center, suite B335.
