San Francisco Fashion Week '07: Vindyco Clothing
Sparkle and pizazz filled the designs created by Cindy Vo, who has been forming fashions since she was 4. She veers toward bold looks for independent women who aren’t afraid to stand out in a crowd.Just about everything she showed had some kind of sparkly sequins, rich ruffle or lush brocade to add a very feminine touch to her Spring/Summer 2008 line.
The collection started out with a lively white mini-dress with large sequins suspended around it. That was followed by a sea-foam mini-dress in a diaphanous material that had a large pleated, sparkly ruffle down the center. A strapless mini-dress with ruffles looked like a wedding cake that was held together with a bright red belt.White and black were the predominant colors for Vo’s collection. —Deborah Belgum
