Skechers Goes to China
Manhattan Beach–based footwear company Skechers USA Inc. struck a joint venture deal with Hong Kong–based Luen Thai Enterprises, which plans to open more than 1,200 points of sale for Skechers over the next three years. Under the joint venture, Skechers China will expand beyond the brand's footwear offerings to design, produce and distribute Skechers active and leisure apparel for men and women.
