New York Fashion Week: Linda Loudermilk

Los Angeles–based designer Linda Loudermilk showed her Fall 2007 collection Feb. 1 at the Altman Building in New York. Her show, which was sponsored by automaker Lexus, focused on eco-friendly, high-fashion design. Loudermilk played with volume in sleeves and skirts but stuck to a palette of warm cream, frosty gray and deepest black for her collection. Standout pieces included a floor-length Victorian dress with a high collar and long, fitted sleeves, a fitted knit jacket with a cascading collar and a zip-front dress jacket with origami- inspired, tiered sleeves. —Erin Barajas
