PVH Completes Superba Purchase
New York–based Phillips–Van Heusen Corp. completed its acquisition of Los Angeles–based tie manufacturer Suberba Inc., which produces neckwear for several labels, including DKNY, Perry Ellis, Ted Baker, Michael Kors and Hart Schaffner Marx. PVH also terminated its neckwear licensing agreement with Mallory & Church LLC, which produced Izod and Calvin Klein neckwear for PVH. In other PVH news, the company struck a separate licensing agreement with Harbor Footwear Group Ltd. for a line of men’s, women’s and children’s footwear under the Bass brand.
