AAFA Names New Board of Directors

The Arlington, Va.–based American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) has named a new board of directors for 2007.

The new members are: Emanuel Chirico, chief executive officer of Phillips–Van Heusen; David Edelman, chief financial officer of Kenneth Cole Productions; Rick Helfenbein, president, Luen Thai USA; and James McMurray, senior vice president and general manager of SAP Retail Inc.

“I know AAFA will benefit from the ideas and wisdom that these outstanding new members will bring. They will also benefit from the experience of service and the opportunities to work with and learn from other members of our board, who represent the broad spectrum of our industry,” said AAFA Chairman Wes Card.
