ApparelMagic Adds New Clients

Glendale, Calif.–based Murphy & Associates, developer of ApparelMagic business software, has added a number of new clients to its customer base.

Among them are New York–based CoolChange, Metairie, La.–based Andrews Sport, Industry, Calif.–based Crash & Burn/Seventy-Two Apparel, and Los Angeles– based Garen Ford and Charlie M. Collection.

ApparelMagic manages all aspects of business, from product development to order management and tracking. The company was founded by John Murphy.

CoolChange is a line designed by Australianborn Rhonda Scholes. The company has offices around the globe and is using ApparelMagic. Its users in multiple international bases can access company information around the clock. The collection is sold at Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, Harvey Nichols and Calypso. Andrews will use ApparelMagic to control its extensive sportswear collection, which includes a copious number of embellishments and color options.

Crash & Burn will use the product to provide product management tools for its FP&L division. Geren Ford, designed by Geren Lockhart, is using the system to maximize productivity, while eliminating hardware and deployment headaches. The system’s ability to provide Internet access to managers, remote workers and sales force allows companies to leverage information while minimizing IT infrastructure. Geren Ford is a growing line with a big celebrity following. Fans include Cameron Diaz, Kate Hudson and the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bassist, Flea.
