OptiTex Rolls Out Nesting Package

OptiTex has released a network version of its Nest++2 nesting software for the textile industry.

The application incorporates an algorithm for nesting, enabling patterns in the textile and automobile-accessory industries to be placed together to maximize the use of fabrics and materials.

The upgraded version enables the work to be done on several computers simultaneously, allowing markers to be optimized in overnight processes while being queued and executed in any batch or way specified by the user.

OptiTex executives said the new version can be used with just basic specifications. The application takes all existing technical constraints into consideration to enable quick results and precise cost proposals regarding the amount of fabric required. It also increases fabric utilization, elevates nesting standards, and reduces time and labor.
