Blue Cult Update: Showroom Settlement Reached

The dispute between Blue Cult and its former sales and showroom staff has been settled.

Blue Cult executives said a settlement was reached in June regarding money owed to its showroom and the showroom’s owner.

On one side of the dispute were The Gallery Showroom and its owner, Mikey Koffman, who said earlier this month that she had not been paid for sales and publicrelations services rendered for denim brands Blue Cult and Coil. On the other side was Blue Cult’s Frank Mechaly, who says the matter with the showroom and Koffman has been settled. Originally, The Gallery had invoiced Blue Cult for $21,393 for public-relations fees, showroom charges and sales commissions. On June 4, The Gallery Showroom settled with Blue Cult and its sister brand, Coil, for $10,000.
