Bollenbach in at Macy's
Cincinnati-based Macy’s Inc. named Stephen F. Bollenbach, co-chairman and chief executive officer of Hilton Hotels Corp., to its board of directors. The Southern California native was named co-chairman of Hilton in 2004 and has served as chief executive officer since 1996. Prior to joining Hilton, he was senior executive vice president and chief financial officer of The Walt Disney Co., and prior to that, he was president and chief executive officer of Host Marriott Corp. He also currently serves as nonexecutive chairman of KB Home and sits on the boards of directors of Time Warner Inc. and Harrah’s Entertainment Group. Macy’s Inc. has corporate offices in Cincinnati and New York, and operates more than 850 department stores in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Guam and Puerto Rico under the names of Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s as well as e-commerce and catalog businesses (Macys.com, Bloomingdales.com, and Bloomingdale’s By Mail). The company changed its name from Federated Department Stores to Macy’s Inc. on June 1.
