The California Market Center’s On5 contemporary salon continues to grow as Cindy Clark, former western regional manager for Max Studio, sets off on her own, launching CC Sales L.A. on the CMC’s fifth floor.
Clark has been in the industry for 20 years, having spent the past 71/2 with Max Studio. She’s offering a blend of European and West Coast brands with price points from $30 to $150 for readyto- wear and $500 for leather goods.
Labels include Shirt Passion, a contemporary collection out of Italy; Fever, a sweater line offering a broad range of styles and price points; Oramomi, T-shirts featuring original art graphics; Alan Michael Leatherworks, celebrity specialist, now expanding distribution; Two Flowers by Jasmine & Lily, knitwear from a pair of Los Angeles designers; Sexy Pants, custom-fit bottoms; and Fickle, matte jersey dresses and tops.
Clark said the focus in her showroom is on wearable, affordable, well-made clothes.
“We all have such diverse lives, and sometimes you want an item as an addition to a wardrobe. And other times you’re looking for something more specific and special. I’ve designed the showroom to accommodate all aspects of the end customer’s whims and necessities.”
And buyers can expect quick service and access to Clark and her staff.
