Jams World Gets New Chief Exec

Honolulu-based Surf Line Hawaii, which produces Jams World sportswear, has named Mark Tsuda as its new chief executive officer.

Tsuda takes over the daily duties of managing the company from chairman and President Pua Rochlen. Tsuda will be responsible for managing sales and marketing. He most recently worked for Mandara Spa, where he was vice president of the Pacific region.

“As the company continues to grow and develop new markets and businesses, I will be able to focus my efforts on art, design, and strengthening existing and new business relationships,” Rochlen said. “Mark has an outstanding track record and adds a wonderful dynamic to the brand.”

Jams was created in 1964 and is known for its colorful surf shorts but now provides a head-to-toe product offering. The company’s mainland sales office is based in Los Angeles. For more information, visit www.jamsworld.com. —Robert McAllister
