Buddha-Bar Lands at Thesis Boutique
The Buddha-Bar lifestyle empire keeps growing. For more than 10 years, the French company released celebrated compilations of dance music. It also opened restaurant locations in Paris and New York. For its latest project, it has produced Buddhist-inspired jewelry.
On Feb. 8, a party for Buddha-Bar Jewels was hosted at Thesis Boutique, one of the first California stores to offer the Buddha-Bar silver- and gold-plated pendants and bracelets. Thesis is located at 8119 Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles’ Melrose Heights neighborhood.
Price points for the jewelry are $215 to $500. In March, Buddha-Bar Jewels will be available across the United States. And the company has even more expansion plans. Buddha-Bar strategy planner Occo Eric Weber said the company is considering building restaurants in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and the brand may extend to eyewear, as well.—Andrew Asch
