San Diego Fashion Week Lineup Revealed

Organizers of the first Fashion Week San Diego have set the lineup of brands and designers participating in the Sept. 28–Oct. 5 event, with more names to be added.

The shows will be held at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina. On top of the runway shows, forums and lectures will take place, along with shopping events and a wrap party. Proceeds benefit the Child Abuse Prevention Foundation.The list of designers and brands from the United States and Mexico are:

bull; Fuegorosa, created by Mexican designer Olga Sanchez, who uses painted techniques and splashes of color for her fashions.

bull; Fashion Overdose, edgy, street-inspired clothes for plus-size men and women.

bull; Charmone Shoes, fashionable shoes that incorporate European styles with animal-free, eco-friendly materials.

bull; G-Star, founded in 1989 and known for its cutting-edge styles in the denim world.

bull; Lizz Russel, a handbag collection made of silk and semiprecious stones.

bull; Jeans for Justice, a philanthropic line of denim that benefits rape crisis prevention. The denim line is sent to a number of artists and designers around the world who create the label’s looks.

bull; Jorge Corella Designs, one-of-a-kind dresses handcrafted by Jorge Corella, who combines classic cuts with modern glam.

bull; Lauren-Elaine Designs, an ultra-feminine label of dresses and separates with a penchant for prints and details designed by Lauren Elaine.

bull; Made Jewelry, a collection of handmade silver and gold, crystals, rare charms, and vintage plastics.

bull; Nelli USA, a collection of sophisticated dresses.

bull; Parris Harris, a line of vintage recreations and punk inspirations.

bull; Sergio Alcala, a collection of Mexican contemporary looks influenced by photography, digital art, video and artistic performances.

bull; Stacie May, vintage-inspired, one-of-a-kind looks.

bull; Sweet Petites, established in 2006, is an activewear line for petites.

bull; Ximeno Valero, a collection of gala dresses that hug a woman’s curves.
