Max Azria will receive the “Fashion Excellence Award” at the 33rd Annual Dallas Fashion Awards on Oct. 25 in the Dallas Market Center.

The Fashion Excellence Award is the highlight of the annual event, which recognizes companies in eight other categories. In addition, Gianna Madrini, executive producer of Global Fashion News, will receive the “Personal Style” award.

Los Angeles–based designer Azria was chosen for the award based on the strength of his Herveacute; Leacute;ger by Max Azria collection. He, of course, is also known for BCBG by Max Azria.

His celebrity customers include Kate Bosworth, Keira Knightley, Beyonceacute; Knowles, Rachel Bilson and Victoria Beckham.

“Max Azria is a legendary fashion designer who has re-energized the Herveacute; Leacute;ger brand. He’s an industry leader and innovator who we are honored to salute during the Dallas Fashion Awards,” said Cindy Morris, chief operating officer of the DMC.
