Spring Fling at Lacoste
NEW YORK—Creative director Christophe Lemaire set the Lacoste Spring 2009 runway show against a backdrop of chirping crickets. The sound set the mood for a Spring-themed presentation that featured classic sportswear, sport bags, shirred shirts, playsuits, hooded terry-cloth jumpers and beach wear. The designer further underscored the theme with crisp white pieces paired with brights, including orange, pink, yellow and green, as well as creamy sherbet shades of raspberry and melon.
