Luxury Heads to San Diego

Upscale retailers Henri Bendel and Barney’s Co-Op and brands Hermegrave;s, Kate Spade and Juicy Couture will be among the new stores at San Diego’s Fashion Valley shopping center, according to developer Simon Property Group. The 1.7 million-square-foot center is already home to Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, CH Carolina Herrera, Just Cavalli, Tourneau, Michael Kors, M Missoni, Tory Burch, True Religion, Rolex, Custo Barcelona and Jimmy Choo. On Oct. 24–25, Fashion Valley’s luxury brands will be on the runway when Simon Properties brings its “Simon Fashion Now” tour to San Diego. Hosted by celebrity stylist Robert Verdi, the runway show will feature fashions by Betsey Johnson, Tory Burch, Custo Barcelona, CH Carolina Herrera, Jewel, Jimmy Choo, Just Cavalli, M Missoni, Max Studio and Macy’s. And consumers can drop in on the “Style Stops” beauty and product demo, led by representatives from Carlton Hair, Sephora, Kiehl’s Since 1851 and Macy’s.
