Nasty Gal's Vintage Lookbook Goes Viral
Fashion e-tail site Nasty Gal, based in the Bay Area, has become a one-stop shop for fashionistas’ killer outfit needs. The site pairs vintage finds with on-trend, new contemporary apparel, accessories and footwear. The site’s proprietress, Sophia Amoruso, styled Nasty Gal’s latest vintage lookbook and unleashed it on to the site’s YouTube channel.
Set to the music of The Entrance Band’s “Grim Reaper Blues,” the video lookbook features two banged-out babes doing their best rock star impressions by thrashing about in a hotel room and rollicking on the town—all while in covetable band tees, a leopard-print jacket, fur coats and a fringe leather jacket. While studs and spikes abound, there are sweet moments with a polka-dot print strapless gown and an Edwardian-inspired romantic velvet blazer.
