More Executive Changes at Frederick's

Los Angeles lingerie wholesaler and retailer Frederick’s of Hollywood has been realigning its executive staff lately.

The latest shuffle has Linda LoRe, who currently is president and chief executive of the Frederick’s of Hollywood retail division, taking on the added title of president of Frederick’s of Hollywood Group Inc., the parent company to the Frederick’s of Hollywood stores and their manufacturing arm. She will be responsible for merchandising, marketing and product development for both the wholesale and retail divisions, working with Thomas Lynch, who recently was named chief executive of the parent company.

Frederick’s of Hollywood was a private company until last year, when it completed a reverse merger and went public, trading on the American Stock Exchange. It operates its retail division under the Frederick’s of Hollywood nameplate and its New York–based manufacturing division under Movie Star Inc.

“We believe that Linda LoRe’s expanded role in the company’s wholesale as well as retail divisions will facilitate our continuing efforts to capitalize upon the synergies created from the merger and maximize shareholder value,” Lynch said.

The company also announced that Melvyn Knigin, who was president and chief executive of Movie Star, will become senior vice president of sales. —Deborah Belgum
