Calypso Taps Foyle
St. Barts–based women’s and children’s resort retailer Calypso named Jennifer Foyle president of the company. Previously, Foyle was chief merchandising officer of J. Crew Group. Since April, Calypso has been run by Robert Grayson and Kevin Mullaney of The Grayson Co., a retail consultancy. Grayson and Mullaney will remain involved in the transition to the permanent management team, said Molly F. Ashby, chief executive officer of New York–based Solera Capital LLC, the majority shareholder of Calypso. In addition, Beth Guastella was named Calypso senior vice president and head of retail stores. Previously, she held senior-level store positions at Hermegrave;s and Kate Spade.
