Soup's on for Charron

Former Liz Claiborne executive Paul Charron will soon be the chairman of Campbell Soup Co.’s board of directors. Charron, who was chief executive of Liz Claiborne from 1996 to 2006 and has been on Campbell’s board since 2003, takes over the chairmanship in August from Harvey Golub. Before working in the apparel industry, Charron worked at General Foods and Procter & Gamble. Currently, he is a senior adviser at Warburg Pincus, a private equity firm, and a managing partner of Fidus Investment Partners.
