Urban on the Road
Urban Fashion Week, the 10-year-old urban consumer and trade event, rolled into Los Angeles with a lineup that included a model talent search, gifting suite, musical performances and a runway show.
Founder Billy “Bad Ass” Foster, owner of the Billy Bad Axx apparel label, takes UFW all over the country—with stops in New York, Miami, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Charlotte, S.C.—as well as overseas to Paris earlier this year. Future plans include taking the event to London.
