Stanford Mart Kicks the Fashion Party Off Tomorrow
The Stanford Mart hosted runway shows when it opened last year.
Why wait for L.A. Fashion Week?
The Stanford Wholesale Mart, the new apparel wholesale building located in downtown Los Angeles at E. 12th St. and Stanford, is hosting its 2010 Fashion Show, a two-day event featuring runway shows and networking mixers.
Events kick off on July 28 with contemporary and casual resources on the runway. On July 29, the shows will feature casual/lounge wear and evening collections. There will also be musical performances and exhibitors’ booths with more merchandise on display.
The Stanford Wholesale Mart opened last year and is part of a growing number of wholesale buildings joining downtown L.A.’s landscape.
Apparel News is one of the sponsors of the event. Both day's events run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Stanford Mart is located at 807 E. 12th St. It’s open to the public and free to attend. For more information, e-mail fotoizm@lookbookla.com.
