Textile Executive Brownstein Passes
Veteran Los Angeles-area textile executive Steve Brownstein has passed away. He was 59. Brownstein was owner of Brownstein Textiles, a one-time partner of Double E Textiles and an independent representative for numerous converters, importers and jobbers. He was also a member of the Textile Association of Los Angeles.
Brownstein is survived by his mother, Ruth, 94, of Great Neck, N.Y., sons Cody and Jesse of Westchester, Calif., brothers Jerry and Marty of New York and Arnold of Kentucky.
Funeral services were held in Manhasset, N.Y., and burial was in Beth Moses Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y. —Robert McAllister
