Seychelles & Smashbox: The Face-Foot Connection
We think it’s a pretty safe assumption that girls who love shoes also love makeup. Even the French Vogue-ettes who have mastered the look of no-makeup makeup love makeup—just look at their wicked shoes. So we think it is pretty genius for El Segundo, Calif.-based shoe brand Seychelles to partner up with Culver City, Calif.-based Smashbox Cosmetics.
Seychelles for Smashbox: Pretty in Peeptoes, a Spring 2009 collaboration between the two brands, features the Temptress, a vintage-inspired platform sandal, and a Smashbox Cosmetics palette inspired by Seychelles’ Spring collection.
The shoes and the makeup they inspired will be sold exclusively at select Nordstrom stores nationwide. Seychelles’ Spring line and the Pretty in Peeptoes makeup land in stores April 1.
