New Resources Guide: Ring of Fire

For more than eight years, Eran Bitton has been manufacturing street label Joker Brand, which celebrates some of the rougher edges of Los Angeles life with tattoo-art graphics. For the same period of time, Tony Pas has been manufacturing the girly denim line Celebrity Pink.

A mutual friend introduced Pas and Bitton in 2007 and the two decided to take on the young men’s fashion category.

Their new young men’s line, Ring of Fire, offers boutique-style looks served with popular price points.

The Bitton brothers and Pas direct design and production of the brand. Bitton’s brother Isaac handles administrative issues. Another member of the team is Jess Saland, who handles sales out of a New York office.

For its first collection, Ring of Fire offers Western-style woven shirts and distressed-looking premium jeans. It also offers T-shirts such as the “Geisha,” which features a graphic of a Japanese geisha. The fine-combed cotton T-shirt has a permanent-wrinkle wash and screen-printed foil dust, which makes the shirt look like it was treated with a splash of a Jackson Pollock paintbrush.—Andrew Asch
