Window Shopping: Otis Designs Featured at Neiman Marcus
Designs created by juniors and seniors studying fashion design at Otis College of Art and Design are on display at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills. The student designs are displayed in the store’s windows that face Wilshire Boulevard.
The designs were created under the mentorship of several Los Angeles designers, including Monique Lhuillier, Max and Lubov Azria for BCBG Max Azria, and Scott Sternberg of Band of Outsiders.
The designs will be on display through May 26.
My photos are terrible—oh, these sunny, sunny Southern California days!—but the designs are pretty spectacular. Lhuillier’s students re-created old-Hollywood glamour, while Azria’s students went for a sleek, futuristic look and Stermberg’s group created beautifully tailored menswear that provided a fresh take on tradition.
