Retail Real Estate Veterans Launch New Consultancy

Real estate veterans Linda Crowley and Carie Boyce have formed a retail property consultancy, Crowley & Boyce Retail Property Advisors in Newport Beach, Calif., to advise landlords and retailers on investment, tenant-retention and positioning strategies.

Crowley is former president of Urban Street Advisors and a former general manager of retail real estate for CB Richard Ellis. Boyce is a former retail executive with Wherehouse Entertainment, Bristol Farms and Gelson’s and has worked in real estate site selection and lease-negotiation needs for retailers such as A/X Armani Exchange, Kenneth Cole, Marshall’s and Office Depot.

“We believe that owners now really need to focus on stabilizing their centers, and they need someone who can look at the whole picture,” Crowley said. “Both shopping-center stabilization and rent repositioning require full focus and immersion into the process, which we can provide, thus freeing up time for our clients to continue to manage their businesses in this very competitive climate.” —Robert McAllister
