A Night Out at Alberta Ferretti

A chic crowd of stylists, press and guests turned out at Alberta Ferretti’s West Hollywood boutique for an intimate cocktail party and shopping event. Hosted by Liane Weintraub and W Magazine, the event benefited Center Dance Arts.

Guests included celebrity stylist George Kotsiopoulos, denim guru Adriano Goldschmied and fashion show producer Tod Hallman. Attendees previewed the Spring 2010 collections of Alberta Ferretti and Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti and shopped from current Fall and Holiday merchandise. With award season just around the corner, stylists were able to get a jump on Spring offerings for their clients. “It’s really great for all the celebrity stylists to see all the new gowns, cocktail dresses and ready-to-wear that is available,” said Cena Hackler Jackson, director of public relations for Alberta Ferretti.

And according to Jackson, the support of Weintraub, the Malibu socialite turned eco-entrepreneur, helped to promote the lifestyle of the Milan, Italy-based brand in Los Angeles. “We feel that she really embodies who our customer is, and W really understands the sensibility of the Alberta Ferretti woman and what she wants to achieve and what she wants to look like,” explained Jackson. Glamorous but functional, the collection included Ferretti’s signature feminine silhouettes with an independent modern spirit.
