Ever Opens Fashion Island Boutique

With the Christmas holiday season just around the corner, Los Angeles-based premium brand Ever debuted a boutique Oct. 1 at A-list retail center Fashion Island in Newport Beach, Calif. The 1,000 square-foot Ever is the third in the premium fashion label’s growing fleet of stores.

Ever president and creative director Jason Bleick said he felt secure opening another store because his first two stores have been consistently profitable. In October 2008 it opened a boutique at the exclusive Melrose Heights section of Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. The previous year it opened a boutique in the wealthy Santa Barbara County town of Montecito.

The Fashion Island boutique, like the other Ever stores will offer some exclusives in the brand’s fashions for toddlers. Otherwise it will offer an extensive collection of its fashions for men and women, all bearing the brand’s logo of a leaf, and hang tags reminiscent of ticket stubs. One of the brand’s chief inspirations is the romance of travel, and Bleick said the brand will be opening more stores. There will probably one more on the West Coast. Then Ever might open a boutique on the East Coast.—Andrew Asch
