For Linda Giorgianni, there is no separation between career and the fun of everyday life. She named her contemporary showroom It’s All About the Girls in honor of her family life with her daughters, Kia and Olivia. All the Los Angeles–based lines she represents share a Southland humor with a gentle touch.

For the past five years, her showroom’s family affair had been based at The New Mart’s suite 702. In September, she moved the showroom to a bigger 1,200-square-foot space in The New Mart. Sales rep Haley Thorn has been with the showroom since Giorgianni opened it in 2004.

The leading line in It’s All About the Girls is Lauren Moshi, which focuses on graphics of Los Angeles life as seen through the eyes of artist Lauren Moshi. Moshi’s canvas is the cut-and-sew T-shirt rendered in different shapes such as V-necks and tank tops. One Moshi graphic shows a tricked-out Mack truck probably only seen on Southern California freeways. Another shows cute teddy bears and bunnies accessorized with an odd skull or a gun.

The showroom’s newest line is Sloane & Tate. This women’s innerwear line riffs off what the boys wear. It’s fashion underwear inspired by men’s briefs and boxers. All the pieces are named after Los Angeles neighborhoods, such as Bel Air and Silverlake.

Vato offers fashion tees with graphics such as spiders. MonnAmur offers unique tops with a split personality. The fronts are cotton and often feature graphics. The backs are made out of beautiful sheer-chiffon material. Also in the chiffon department is the line Primrose, which manufactures chiffon dresses with bright, spring-ready prints.

Wholesale prices in the showroom range from $36 to $110 for apparel and from $15 to $199 for handbags and jewelry.—Andrew Asch
