Hotel [Surf] California

Confession: I'm a decor addict. There. I said it. I love a little mid-century modern furniture with my coffee. I enjoy a nice lucite chair from time to time. I've purchased more vintage rugs from Pakistan on Ebay than I care to mention. My dog sleeps on a suzani, a hand-embroidered rug from Uzbekistan.

The L*Space room, so dreamy.

Slipper chairs are my Louboutins, not that I can afford either, but you get what I mean. Which is why I am so taken with the Casa Surf Project, which pairs Orange County surf brands with interior designers to decorate rooms in the La Casa Del Camino boutique hotel in Laguna Beach, Calif.

The hotel rooms, decorated by brands such as Billabong, L*Space, Quiksilver, Roxy, Rip Curl, Etnies and Lost, each reflect the brands take on surf/beach culture. The results differ wildly and for one year, part of the room rates will be donated to charities of the brands' choice.

Book a room or help kick off the hotel's new duds Nov. 2.
