Komar Lands Maidenform
New York–based Komar Co. has struck a licensing deal with Iselin, N.J.–based Maidenform Brands Inc. Under the agreement, Komar has the exclusive right and license to manufacture, market, sell and distribute women’s and children’s sleepwear, women’s long underwear, and women’s swimwear under certain Maidenform brands to select retailers in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Komar already holds the sleepwear licenses for the Donna Karan and DKNY brands.
