Obituary: Shoe Retailer Sally Ann Schiff Goodman, 50

Sally Ann Schiff Goodman, founder and president of footwear retailer Eilatan Inc., died on May 28 after battling cancer. She was 50.

A Southern California native, Goodman made her home in Newport Beach, Calif. Her shoe business, which she founded in 2003, includes two retail locations, one at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles and the other at the Irvine Spectrum in Irvine, Calif. Eilatan also runs an e-commerce site at www.eilatan.com.

A longtime retail executive, Goodman worked as a buyer at Nordstrom and served as president of Pacific Eyes & T.

Goodman is survived by her husband, Daniel Goodman; daughter Natalie Goodman; step-daughters Lisa Myers and Lori Greiver and their husbands, Jason and Michael; her father and stepmother, Hans and Merle Schiff; brothers Peter Schiff, Bruce Schiff and Thomas Schiff and their wives, Karen, Maryanne and Wendy; sister Carol Serono and her husband, Ron; sister-in-law Rebecca Silver and her husband, Arthur; brother-in-law Andrew Goodman and his wife, Dory; and 10 step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Barbara Schiff.
