Robertson Blvd. Going Kiddie

Fashions from Gap's 1969 Kids line

Robertson Boulevard already hosts a Kitson Kids boutique, but the street once packed with a naughty, celebrity sex appeal might find itself going to the diapers and playpen set. On June 25, Gap will debut a pop-up shop for its 1969 Kids line at 107 S. Robertson Blvd.

The pop-up shop will sell jeans for toddlers to pre-teens that are modeled after the successful Gap’s 1969 premium-denim line for adults. This line started making a splash by debuting a pop-up shop at 108 S. Robertson Blvd. A few months after its debut, Gap decided to make the 1969 shop permanent. The 1969 Kids shop is planned to have a shelf life of three months.

Gap plans to attract more families to its pop-up store when the founders of the Momologie lifestyle newsletter host Saturday events for moms and kids. The first Momologie event is scheduled for July 10.
