BOXeight Fashion: Refocus - Day 3

BOXeight Fashion concluded its three-day run of live photo shoots on Sunday night. On the schedule was Gabby Applegate, photographed by Sam Hessamian; Kanvis, photographed by Robert Sigler; Post’age, photographed by Ben Cope; Future Heretics, photographed by Peter Gurnz; and a last minute change on the schedule: Orthodox was replaced by Zak, photographed by Catherine Asanov.

BOXeight sustained amped-up energy the whole night through. Even as the stylists were wrapping up the last looks for each designer, guests continued to feed into the party. For thorough rundown of Days 1 and 2, go here for Day 1 and here for Day 2.

"I think it needs more lights?" Photographer Peter Gurnz and Future Heretics’ Bryden Lando powwow about the setup.

Future Heretics showed quilted leggings, bleached and torn skinny jeans and droopy loose tees for women and moto style vests and jackets for men.

She did not just take a joyride in a convertible. It takes work to make messy hair look this good. One of the hair extraordinaires touches up model wearing Gabby Applegate to be photographed by Sam Hessamian.

A screen shot of Gabby Applegate's dark and luxe collection that included a sexy sheer lace dress with shoulderpad details and an "Eyes Wide Shut"-ish occult hooded and exposed zipper cape.

Kanvis showed different degrees of knits all layered up, from filmy thin jersey to textured yarns.

Ben Cope shot Post’age's skin-tight denim with a sexy, angular artistic dimension. A photo snapped from the computer screen.

Models are so obedient. A model in Zak stands on one leg on an applebox.

Zak Kaufman, who also makes the contemporary men's line COA, showed his “post-streetwear” line Zak. Jeans were slim but not legging-tight with a shiny sheen.
